Some of my work abstracted from something that inspires me such as the colors in the sky or the shapes I see between the branches of a tree, while other works are pure design, representing nothing I see. These works are often based on a grid, especially many of the collages which reflect my earlier work in fiber arts and doodles of boxes that I drew over and over in the margins of my study notebooks
